Zora E. Sullivan, age 86, of Luther, OK, was born on March 22, 1922, in Norman, OK. She was the daughter of Barney & Myrtel Keener Young. She left this life on Tuesday, May 20, 2008, in Luther, OK. Zora graduated from Wayne High School in Wayne, OK. She married William Leroy Betz on May 7, 1946, in Purcell, OK. He preceded her in death in 1952. She married Herman Sullivan in 1954. Zora was a member of the Choctaw Road Baptist Church, Choctaw, OK. She worked at Tinker AFB for twenty years. She enjoyed fishing, reading the newspaper, politics, eating watermelon and loved music and playing the piano. Zora was also preceded in death by her parents; second husband, Herman; two sisters, Bonnie Mae Leveridge, Wilma Cy Gullion and one brother, Bill Young. Survivors include 2 sons & daughters-in-law, Barney & Laticia Sullivan, Choctaw, OK, Bill & Trena Sullivan, McLoud, OK; 2 daughters & sons-in-law, Betty & Gerry Peery, Luther, OK, Dodie & Joe Davis, Carney, OK; step-daughter & husband, Ginny & Glen Bell, Harrah, OK; 19 grandchildren; 28 great-grandchildren and many nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends. Services will be held at 1:00 PM, Thursday, May 22, 2008, at the Asa Smith Memorial Chapel, Harrah, OK, with Rev. Jon Lowry officiating. Interment will follow at Hillside Cemetery, Purcell, OK. Services are under the direction of Smith~Parks Funeral Service in Harrah, OK.
