Zelda Ann Prather of Earlsboro, passed away on February 5, 2021 in Prague, at the age of 76. She was born Zelda Ann Nipper on April 15, 1944 in Prague. Zelda was the daughter of the late Willie Lee and Rosa Ann (Belcher) Nipper. She was a 1962 graduate of Prairie Valley High School, where she excelled on the basketball court. Zelda married Gwin Dale Prather on April 11, 1964 at Fairview Baptist Church and the two were happily married until his death in May 2008. Zelda was known for her big heart and loving spirit. She was caring, feisty and often competitive. She had a passion for sports. It did not matter what sport, from rodeo to football and everything in between, if it was on you knew where to find her. She especially loved cheering on the Oklahoma City Thunder and the Oklahoma State Cowboys. As much as she loved sports, Zelda's true love and passion was for her family. Zelda had two children, Angie and Alan, six grandchildren and seven great-grandchildren, each and every one of them were the lights of her life. She loved to support them in any and all events they participated in. She also loved to spoil them with Dr. Peppers, homemade Christmas candy and toys, blankets and clothes she crocheted by hand. Each Christmas, Zelda and all the family would gather to make more Christmas Candy than any of them could ever eat. Zelda was preceded in death by her parents, Rosa and Willie Nipper; her husband of 44 years, Gwin Dale Prather and one great-grandchild, Luna Dan. She is survived by one daughter, Angie Sealock and her husband Danny; one son, Alan Prather and his wife Dawn; six grandchildren, Amanda Myers and her husband Mike, Zac Price, Ali Richardson and her husband Caleb, Alex Prather and his wife Ashley, Paige Dan and her husband Adam and Hunter Sealock and his wife Alexis; seven great-grandchildren, Trel Myers, Paisley Myers, Rein Price, Abigail Richardson, Rope Price, Rowan Dan, Autry Dan; her sister and best friend, Wynonia Bennett and sister, Zeta Carty.
