Zekeah Atyia Pease

Zekeah Atyia Pease was born on March 20, 1940, in Seminole, Oklahoma, and went to be with her Lord and Savior on June 6, 2005, in Dallas, TX. Her parents, Shaheen and Nell Atyia; sister, Betty Atyia; brothers, Johnny Brown and Hammet Atyia, preceded Zekeah in death. She is survived by her husband, Dale Pease of Dallas; son, Sean Pease and wife Tammy of Richardson; grandchildren, Shelby and Chance Pease; sisters, Shirlene Pratka, Norma Murray, and JoAnn Howell, all of Prague, OK; brothers, Haney Atyia of Midland, TX; Fried Atyia and Doug Atyia, both of Seminole, OK; and a host of nieces, nephews, and other relatives; and a dear friend, Judy Hailey. The family will receive friends from 6:30 PM until 8:30 PM on Thursday, June 9, 2005, at Restland Funeral Home. Memorials may be made to the Zekeah Pease Memorial Fund at Prestonwood Baptist Church. Funds will be used in support of the Music Ministry she loved so much, and the establishment of a Cancer Support Ministry.
