Ynaith Lorene Palmer

Ynaith L. Palmer, age 83, of Choctaw, OK, was born on May 18, 1925, in Daisy, Oklahoma. She was the daughter of Nathaniel Welch & Minnie Gertrude Degraffenreed Brown. She left this life on November 13, 2008, in Choctaw, OK. Ynaith attended school in Coalgate, OK. She married Harvey D. Palmer on May 20, 1941 in Coalgate, OK. She worked at Tinker AFB for 21 years. Ynaith took art classes at Rose State College and enjoyed making quilts, painting and crocheting. The most important thing in her life was her family. Ynaith was preceded in death by her parents, 4 sisters-in-law, Dove, Clara, Vida and Eliza. Survivors include her husband, Harvey D. Palmer, Choctaw, OK; son, H. D. Palmer, Luther, OK; 3 daughters, Corine Palmer, Richton, MS, Ynaith Kay Lewis, Tecumseh, OK, Linda Marie & Lee Roy Willoughby, Oklahoma City, OK; 1 brother, J. W. Brown, Springfield, MO; 1 sister, Thelma & Leon Tomlinson, Coalgate, OK; 10 grandchildren; 18 great-grandchildren; 7 great-great-grandchildren and many other relatives and friends. Graveside services will be held at 10:00 AM, Saturday, November 15, 2008, at Memory Lane Cemetery, Harrah, OK. Services are under the direction of Smith~Parks Funeral Service, Harrah, OK.
