Wynema Geneva Palmer

Wynema Geneva Palmer passed away on Sunday, April 26, 2020 at the age of 91. Wynema was born on February 1, 1929 in Eufaula, Oklahoma. She was the daughter of Jack and Dora May (Gawf) Brady. Wynema attended Eufaula Public Schools. Following high school, Wynema married Clifford “Jack” Palmer on April 5, 1948 in Vernon, Texas. The two made their home in Prague, Oklahoma. The two were happily married until his death on July 27, 2010. Following Jack’s death, Wynema moved to Arcadia, Oklahoma. Wynema was an excellent cook. She was also skilled in embroidery and took pride in creating beautiful pieces for family and friends. She loved watching sports, particularly the Oklahoma City Thunder and she was a long-time member of the Prague Freewill Baptist Church. Wynema was a loving and caring person. She loved being a mother and grandmother and loved nothing more than her children and grandchildren. Wynema was preceded in death by her parents; her husband of 61 years, Clifford “Jack” Palmer; one son, Richard Palmer; two brothers, Junior Brady and John Paul Brady and one brother-in-law, Jack Clanton. She is survived by one son, John Palmer and his wife Pam of Arcadia; one daughter-in-law, Sharon Palmer of Prague; grandchildren, Cliff Palmer and his wife Jimi, Stephanie Moore and her husband Shaun, Leslie Goad and her husband Michael; great-grandchildren, Brady Moore and her fiancé Kyler Brackett, Colton Palmer, Layton Moore and his wife Rachel, Kailyn Palmer, Foster Moore, Talon Shimp, Whitley Moore, and Locklyn Moore; great-great-grandchild, Charles Dean Moore; one sister, Deanna Clanton and her children, Tony Clanton, Puggin Clanton and Teddi Clanton. She is also surived by many loving family and friends. A graveside service is scheduled for Thursday, April 30, 2020 at 1:00 PM at Greenwood Cemetery in Eufaula, Oklahoma. Arrangements are under the direction of Parks Brothers Funeral Service of Prague. An online guestbook is available at www.parksbrothers.net.
