Wrenetta Alene Parker

Wrenetta Alene Parker was born on January 18, 1930, in Okfuskee County, Oklahoma, and departed this life on Friday, February 19, 2016, in Shawnee, Oklahoma, at the age of 86. Wrenetta, the daughter of Archie and Jewell (Edmondson) Jackson, was a resident of Tecumseh. She married Dorsey Parker on April 1, 1960, in Riverside, California. They remained married until his death in 2014. Wrenetta enjoyed puzzle books, sewing and cooking. Wrenetta’s parents; husband; sons, Roger Dale and Jimmy Lee Barton; and sister, Freda Lewis, preceded her in death. Survivors include her sons and daughters-in-law, Hershel and Donna Sue Barton of AZ; Bobby Ray and Wanda Barton of Shawnee; Phillip Eugene “Shorty” Parker of Tecumseh, and Archie Grady “Peewee” Parker of Tecumseh; daughter, Juanita and Mike Smith of Shawnee; 3 granddaughters; 4 grandsons; 9 great-grandchildren; other family and friends. A graveside memorial service will be held on Saturday, February 27, 2016 at 2:00 PM at Prague Cemetery with Bro. Tim Emmons officiating.
