Winona L. Herrmann

Winona L. Herrmann was born on August 2, 1925, in Maxwell, OK, and departed this life on Friday, March 13, 2009, in Stillwater, OK, at the age of 83. Winona, the daughter of James and Willie Caroline Woods Isaacs, was a resident of Chandler. She married Redford E. Herrmann on January 11, 1947, in Shawnee, OK. Winona worked as a nurse aid and cook for many years. Her parents, husband and one sister preceded Winona in death. Survivors include, son, Rolfe E. Herrmann of Chandler, daughters, Pamela G. Herrmann of Stillwater, OK, Janet Gwartney of Hammond, OK, Janelle Wilkinson of Colepepper, TX, Janonne Short of Oklahoma City, OK, Cecilia Herrmann of Stillwater, OK, brothers, Henry Lee Isaacs of Tecumseh, OK, Donald Isaacs of Moore, OK, sisters, Viola Doriske of Schaghticoke, NY, Ollie McCabe of Bethel, OK, Elizabeth McCown of West Brooke, TX, 10 grandchildren, 18 great-grandchildren, other relatives and many friends. Funeral services will be held on Wednesday, March 18, 2009, at 2:00 P.M.at Church of the First Born in Chandler with Brother Tom Wright officiating. Interment will follow at Parkland Cemetery in Parkland, OK. Services are under the direction of Parks Brothers Funeral Service in Chandler.
