Winnifred W. Norris

Winnifred W. Norris, 99, McLoud, OK, was born August 1, 1912, in Caledonia, Minnesota. She was the daughter of Frank and Anne Weber. She passed away Tuesday, June 26, 2012, in Shawnee, OK, with her family by her side. Winnie married Ray H. Draper in 1930. They were blessed with two wonderful daughters, Mary Ann and Betty. Throughout her life, she also had four grandchildren, eight great-grandchildren and three great-great-grandchildren. She was an active member of Dale United Methodist Church. Her interests included her family, gardening, reading and crocheting. She was preceded in death by her parents, husband, Ray Draper, brother, Bill Weber, daughter, Mary Ann Wilkerson, son-in-law Elmo Wilkerson, two great-granddaughters, Lacy Markham and Kelsey Ritze. She is survived by her daughter & son-in-law, Betty & Ray Johnson, McLoud, OK; 4 grandchildren: Connie, Dan, Lisa 7 great-grandchildren, William, Amity, Heidi, Jamey, Zahn, Matthew and Whitney; 3 great-great-grandchildren, Brylee, Kai, and Daniel and many other family and friends. Memorial contributions in Winnie Norris's name can be made to the Oklahoma Medical Research Foundation. Services will be 11:00 AM, Friday, June 29, 2012, at the Dale United Methodist Church, Dale, OK, with Rev. Russell Currie officiating. Interment to follow at 1:00 PM at Sunny Lane Cemetery, Del City, OK. Services are under the direction of Smith~Parks Funeral Service in Harrah, OK.
