Winifred "Winnie" Mendenhall

Winifred 'Winnie' Mendenhall, long-time Chandler, OK, resident was born on September, 12, 1938, in Edmond, OK, and departed this life Friday, August 23, 2013, at her home in Chandler, at the age of 74 years. Winnie was the daughter of Darold and Georgia Ella (Hanke) Wright. She married Bill Mendenhall on March 3, 1956, in Edmond. Winnie worked as a Executive Secretary for National American Insurance Company for 30 years. Her parents, husband, and one brother, preceded Winnie in death. Survivors include, two daughters, Jerri Toumbs of Chandler, Deborah Ann Mendenhall of Chandler, one sister, Eileen Pryor of Wellston, OK, four grandchild, five great- grandchildren, other relatives and many friends. Funeral services will be held at 10:30 AM, Wednesday, August 28, 2013, at Parks Brothers Funeral Chapel in Chandler, burial will follow at New Zion Cemetery. Services are under the direction of Parks Brothers Funeral Service in Chandler.
