Wilma Irene Lawson

Wilma Irene Lawson was born in Cleveland, Oklahoma on September 16, 1916 and departed this life in Cushing, Oklahoma on Thursday, November 29, 2007 at the age of 91 years. Wilma was the daughter of Carl & Minnie Henderson Kidd. Wilma was a resident of Ada, Oklahoma most of her life. Graduated from Ada High School and attended East Central State College. Wilma married Sam Buddy Lawson Sr. in Ada, Oklahoma in 1938. She owned and operated Wilma?s Fabric Store in Ada, Oklahoma for 20 years & was a member of the First Christian Church in Ada. She was preceded in death by her parents, husband, in 1974, 2 brothers, and 1 sister. Survivors include, Two Sons & Daughter in laws, Sam Buddy Jr. & Tamara Lawson of Shawnee, OK, Gary Don & Jan Lawson of Hot Springs, AK, Three Grandchildren, Whitney Lawson of Oklahoma City, OK, Courtney Elliot & husband Chris of Perkins, OK, Bethaney Jenkins & husband Mike of Denton, TX, One Great Grandchild, Presley Elliot of Perkins, OK, Three Step Grandchildren & Spouses, Heather & Chad Bowlan of Edmond, OK, Preston & Julie French of Willow Creek, CA, Tara & Carlos Lozano of Choctaw, OK, Others relatives and friends. Graveside service will be held at the Stroud Cemetery at 10:00 A.M. on Saturday, December 1, 2007 with Minister Kevin Rayner and Minister Bob Anderson of Highland Church of Christ, Tecumseh, OK. Services are under the direction of Parks Brothers Funeral Service in Stroud, Oklahoma.
