Willis 'Bill' Blaney Jr. was born in Davenport, Oklahoma on May 26, 1931 and departed this life in Oklahoma City, Oklahoma at the age of 82 years. Bill was the son of Willis and Bernice (Satterfield) Blaney Sr. Bill lived in the Stroud area all of his life. He married Phyllis Edwards on May 26, 1953 in Stroud and was a member of the First Christian Church in Stroud. He worked in the oil fields and was a rancher. He was preceded in death by his parents, 2 brothers and one sister. Survivors include, wife, Phyllis Blaney of the home, two daughters & sons-in-law, Belinda Morris and husband Tony of Stroud, Janese Gentry and husband Jason of Claremore, two sisters, Betty Laffoon of Stroud, Joyce Wilburn of Stroud, grandchildren, Maddison Klontz, David Shane Klontz, Catherine Klontz, Shanna Morris and Alison Emmons, one great-grandchild, Noah Emmons, other relatives and many friends. Funeral services will be held at the Parks Brothers Chapel in Stroud on Tuesday, October 29, 2013 at 2:00 P.M. with Rev. Jeromye Jackson officiating. Burial will follow in the Stroud Cemetery under the direction of Parks Brothers Funeral Service in Stroud, Oklahoma.
