William Walter Clark was born on January 11, 1931, in Oklahoma City, OK, and departed this life on Friday, September 10, 2010, in Cushing, OK, at the age of 79 years. Walter, the son of Carl and Jennie Grace (Jefferson) Clark, was a resident of Chandler, OK. He served in the United States Navy during the Korean War. Walter married Norma Baker on August 7, 1953, in Kingfisher, OK. He worked as a system analyst at Tinker Air Force Base for many years. Walter was a member of the First United Methodist Church, Chandler Masonic Lodge , and the Eastern Star chapter #139. His parents, one son, one brother and one sister preceded Walter in death. Survivors include, Wife, Norma of the home, Son and daughter-in-law, William H. and Sherri Clark of Chandler, OK, Daughter and son-in-law, Karen and Richard Covington of Chandler, OK, Daughter-in-law, Gay Clark of Stillwater, OK, Brother, J.C. Clark of Albuquerque, NM, Sister, Helen Mills of Dallas, TX, 7 grandchildren, 6 great-grandchildren, other relatives and many friends. Funeral services will be held on Monday, September 13, 2010, at 10:00 A.M., at Parks Brothers Funeral Chapel in Chandler, with Rev. Sungsu Hwang officiating. Interment will follow at Pleasant Ridge Cemetery. Services are under the direction of Parks Brothers Funeral Service in Chandler.
