William Paul Pool

Paul Pool was born in Kiowa, Oklahoma on March 23, 1945 and departed this life in Dallas, Texas on Saturday, December 1, 2007, at the age of 62 years. Paul was the son of Ervin and Jennylynn Littlejohn Pool. Paul was a resident of Milfay, Oklahoma since 2003 moving from Pryor, Oklahoma. Paul married Peggy Sue Grant in Milfay, Oklahoma on July 21, 1967. Paul graduated from Sannah High School in 1963 and went on to South Eastern State College at Durant, Oklahoma where he got his degree in Teaching and Coaching. Paul was a Teacher and Basketball Coach at Depew, Oklahoma. Paul was in the Oklahoma Coaches Association, inducted into the Coaches Hall of Fame, in 1998, He won two State Girls Basketball Titles and was voted Coach of the year in his 40 years of Coaching. Paul was a member and deacon of the First Baptist Church in Milfay, Oklahoma. He was preceded in death by his parents. Survivors include, Wife, Peggy of the home, One Son, Paul Glenn Pool of Allen, TX, Two Daughters, Paula Orr & husband David of Grapevine, TX, Pam Parrott of Highland Village, TX, Three Brothers& Sisters in laws, Ervin & Arlene Pool of Savanna, OK, Hugh & Carolyn Pool of Wright City, OK, Glenn & Freda Pool of Kingston, OK, Two Sisters& Brothers in laws, Edna & Richard Huff of Pangburn, AK, Teresa & Dwayne Pleas of Council Bluff, IA, Four Grandchildren, Madison Avery Orr of Grapevine, TX, Caden Paul Orr of Grapevine, TX, Carson Nicole Parrott of Highland Village, TX, Connor Grant Parrott of Highland Village, TX, Others friends and relatives. Funeral service will be held at the Depew High School Gym in Depew, Oklahoma on Wednesday, December 5, 2007 at 2:00 P.M. with Rev. Heath Buster officiating. Burial will be in the Stroud Cemetery under the direction of Parks Brothers Funeral Service in Stroud, Oklahoma. Memorial to be made to: Spirit Bank, Depew, OK to Paul Pool Scholarship Fund.
