William Pat Abney

William Pat Abney was born in Shawnee, Oklahoma on March 11, 1939, and departed this life in Stroud, Oklahoma on Wednesday April 2, 2008 at the age of 69 years. William Pat Abney was the son of William Henry and Minnie Gokey Abney. He was a resident of Stroud most of his life. He was a construction worker and a member of the Only Way Baptist Church. He served in the United States Navy. He was preceded in death by his parents, one brother, and four sisters. Survivors include, One brother and sister-in-law:Don and Mary Abney of Davenport, Oklahoma, Several Nieces & nephews, Other relatives and friends Funeral service will be held at the Sac & Fox Community Center on Friday, April 4, 2008 at 7:00 P.M. with Rev. Mike Grass officiating. Burial will be at the Sac & Fox Cemetery on Saturday, April 5, 2008 at 10:00 A.M. Services are under the direction Parks Brothers Funeral Service in Stroud, Oklahoma.
