William Owen Talley

William Owen Talley, long time Chandler, Oklahoma, resident, was born on October 3, 1914, in Plainfield, Arkansas, and departed this life on February 27, 2007, at his home in Chandler, at the age of 92 years. Owen was the son of William Jones and Annie Elizabeth Campbell Talley. He served in the United States Army during WW II. Owen married Magdalene Elizabeth Thraen on September 28, 1946, in Harlan, Iowa. He worked many years at Ginn Auto Supply in Chandler. Owen was an avid outdoorsman, loving to hunt and fish. He attended Our Lady of Sorrows Catholic Church. Owen was preceded in death by his parents, wife, two brothers, and two sisters. Survivors include, One son & daughter-in-law, Robert L. & Bobbie Talley of Flower Mound, TX, Two daughters & sons-in-law, Joyce & Joe Worley of Copperas Cove, TX, Janice & Mickey Williamson of Seminole, OK, One brother, James D. Talley of Silver Cliff, Colorado, Seven Grandchildren, Three Great Grandchildren. Other relatives and many friends. Expressions of sympathy may be made to the American Heart Association
