William Leon ?Bill? Boland, Oklahoma City, OK, age 67, was born on July 3, 1938, in Shawnee, Oklahoma. He was the son of William Leon and Naurine Akins Boland. He left this life on January 21, 2006, in Oklahoma City, OK. Bill graduated from Harrah High School in 1956. After graduation, he served two years in the U.S Army. He worked for 32 years at Southwestern Bell until his retirement. On March 6, 1987, he married Karan Ingram. Bill was a member of the First Baptist Church of Harrah and the Communications Workers of America Union. He was a member of the McLoud Blue Lodge #126, McLoud, OK, a 32nd degree Mason of the McAlester Scottish Rite and an India Shriner. Bill was a life member, regional director of District Two and on the bylaws committee of the Brothers of the Third Wheel Organization. He was a member and public relations director of the Okie Twisters Chapter. Bill was preceded in death by his parents Survivors include his wife, Karan Boland of the home; 3 daughters & 1 son-in-law, Michelle & Eddy Brawley of Edmond, Tonya Boland of Edmond, Brandi Boland of Edmond; 2 brothers & sisters-in-law, Philip & Kathy Boland of Harrah, David & Donna Boland of Harrah; 4 step-sons, Jerry Burleson, Michael & Jackie Burleson of Moore, J.C. Hutchison of OKC, Steven Hutchison of OKC; 10 grandchildren, Tom, Brittany, Robert, Dustin, Lynnsey, Josh, Brandon, Brianna, Bryan and Brayden; 1 great-grandchild, Makinzie; 2 step-grandchildren, Shelby & Ashley; 1 step-great-grandchild, Tyler and many other relatives and friends. Funeral services will be held at 10:00 A.M. Thursday, January 26, 2006, at the Asa Smith Memorial Chapel, Harrah, OK. Interment will follow at Memory Lane Cemetery, Harrah, OK. Services are under the direction of Smith~Parks Funeral Service in Harrah, OK.
