William Green Riddle, III, age 67, of Harrah, OK, was born on November 8, 1941, in Pascagoula, Mississippi. He was the son of William G. Riddle, II & Wavelyn Faye (Williamson) Riddle. He left this life on Tuesday, November 3, 2009, in Harrah, OK. William proudly served in the U.S. Navy during the Vietnam Era. He also retired from the U. S. Army Reserves serving with the Army Ready Reserves out of St. Louis. He married Lula Towler on April 16, 1970, in Gainesville, TX. William loved to read, attend horse auctions, cockfighting and civil war re-enactments. He loved to talk and visit. William was preceded in death by his parents, brother, Mike Riddle and grandson, Daniel. Survivors include his wife, Lula M. Riddle of the home; 5 daughters & sons-in-law, Deanna Riddle, New Zealand, Malinda & David Vinson, Harrah, OK, Melissa & Jeff Jorski, Avinger, TX, Becky Riddle, Harrah, OK, Lillie Riddle, Harrah, OK; son & daughter from previous marriage, William Riddle, Neillsville, Wisconsin, Teresa Greer, Clearlake, CA; 2 brothers, Clarence Story, Canadian, OK, George Riddle, Norman, OK; 12 grandchildren, Jarrod, Justen, Samantha, Cassandra, Jacob, Zachery, Tabatha, Callie, Bronwyn, Brittany, Gary, David Lee and many other relatives and friends. Memorial services will be held 2:00 P.M. Saturday, November 7, 2009, at the Asa Smith Memorial Chapel, Harrah, OK, with Rev. Hubert Gilbert officiating. Services are under the direction of Smith~Parks Funeral Service in Harrah, OK.
