William David Bacon

William 'David' Bacon, age 61, of Newalla, OK, was born on June 15, 1946 in Oklahoma City, Oklahoma. He was the son of Robert William 'Bill' and Mary Anna Goeders Bacon. He left this life on Thursday, January 18, 2008 in Newalla, Oklahoma. David graduated from Harrah High School in 1964. He was the owner of Alpha Concrete Products. His passion was playing guitar, singing and he really enjoyed performing his 'one man band'. His hobby was building and collecting hot rods. David enjoyed traveling in his RV and loved riding his motorcycle, going to Nascar races and celebrating the 4th of July. David was preceded in death by his parents and 3 brothers, Alvin, Douglas & Bobby. Survivors include his wife, Linda Bacon, Newalla, OK; son & daughter-in-law, Russell & Sheryl Johnson, Newalla, OK; daughter, Roxanne Johnson, Mesa, AZ; brother & sister-in-law, Dennis & Teri Bacon, Newalla, OK; 2 sisters & brothers-in-law, Teresa & Jim Wiegert, Harrah, OK, Carrie & Craig Ingram, Harrah, OK; 3 grandchildren, Quade Johnson, Brittany Monti, & Blake Ballard and many other relatives and friends. Services will be held 2:00PM Monday, January 21, 2008 at the Asa Smith Memorial Chapel, Harrah, OK. Services are under the direction of Smith~Parks Funeral Service in Harrah, OK.
