Willa Dean Sykora

Willa Dean Sykora, a Stroud, Oklahoma resident, was born in Shawnee, Oklahoma, on December 3, 1924, and departed this life in Stroud on Monday, November 14, 2005, at the age of 80 years. Willa Dean was the daughter of Charles and Ida May Reed Helm. She graduated from Shawnee High School in 1943. Willa Dean married Paul Sykora in Prague, Oklahoma, on August 20, 1946. She moved to Stroud from Prague in 1951. She was a member of the First Baptist Church in Stroud, a member of the American Legion Auxiliary in Stroud, and owned and operated Sykora Furniture Store in Stroud. She was preceded in death by her parents, 3 brothers, and 3 Sisters.
