Wilda Stewart Clark Frazier was born on a hot summer day on August 1, 1927, to William Scott and Dollie Mae Stewart at the Stewart Farm just southwest of Sparks, Oklahoma. Wilda was the 13th child born to her parents. She was reared at this home, and attended Union Grade School. Later, the family moved to Sparks, where she continued her education. She graduated from Sparks High School in 1945, with the honor of Valedictorian of her class. After graduation, she went to work at the Lincoln County Superintendent's Office in the Chandler courthouse. There she met and married Gerald Clark, who also worked at the courthouse. He later ran for County Clerk, was elected, and held that office until his death. Wilda was appointed to assume the duties of County Clerk and served there for the next 18 years. She worked one more year, for the State Auditor and Inspector's Office at the State Capitol, before retiring in 1985. Gerald and Wilda had three children: Ronald Wayne, Ricky Eugene, and Lori Suzanne. Wilda later married William (Bill) Frazier, they moved to Sparks, and later to Shawnee, before Bill's passing in 2004 of complications from a stroke. Wilda then moved to Jenks, Oklahoma to be close to her daughter, Lori, and her family. Wilda was preceded in death by her mother and father, Dollie and Scott Stewart; five brothers: Ray, Roy, Rufus, Ross, and Clyde Stewart; and two sisters: Pearl Johnson and Naomi Earlabough. Wilda is survived by her three children, Ron Clark (Rita), Rick Clark, and Lori Clark Riley (Steve); five grandchildren, Shannon, Matt, Ryan, Austin, and Lauren; and three great grandchildren, Tyler, Savannah, and Jaiden; as well as many nephews, nieces, and friends. Wilda's family would like to thank St. Francis Home Health and St. Francis Hospice for their wonderful care of Wilda over the last few months. Also, a very special thank you to mom's steadfast caregivers, Betty Overstreet and Tammy Carr, who were with her until the end. Wilda will lay in state at Park Brothers' Funeral Home in Chandler, Oklahoma, and then a funeral service will be held at the First United Methodist Church in Chandler, Oklahoma, on July 1, 2013, at 10:00 AM, with Rev. Allen Carson officiating. Burial will follow at Oak Park Cemetery in Chandler, Oklahoma.
