Wayne Edward Stowe

Wayne Edward Stowe, age 53, of Newalla, OK, was born on November 17, 1961, in Mobile, Alabama. He was the son of Vernon Hugh & Marjorie Evelyn (Smith) Stowe. He left this life on Thursday, November 5, 2015, in Newalla, OK. Wayne graduated from Bethel High School, Bethel, OK, and was baptized at Little Axe Baptist Church. He was a mechanic at Tinker AFB. Wayne was a member of the Custom 50's car club for many years and a Nascar fan. His hobbies included remote control cars, antiques and he loved his grandkids. Wayne fought a good hard battle with cancer for 2 years. God needed a good man and looked around and saw Wayne. He needed him more than we did. He is survived by his wife of almost 20 years, Dawn Cotney-Stowe, Newalla, OK; son & daughter-in-law, Brandon & Beka Cotney, Harrah, OK; his two favorite people, his darling granddaughters, Trinity Dawn and Baylie Marie Cotney; the best parents a person could ask for, Vernon & Marjorie Stowe, Moore, OK; 2 brothers & sisters-in-law, Ronald Hugh & Andrea Stowe, Town Creek, AL, Daryl Keith & Lori Stowe, Norman, OK; nephew, Jake Stowe; nieces, Rachel Stowe, Aislynn Stowe, Jamie Stowe and many other relatives and friends. Graveside services will be held 2:00 PM, Tuesday, November 10, 2015, at Pilgrims Rest Cemetery, Newalla, OK. Services are under the direction of Smith~Parks Funeral Service in Harrah, OK.
