Wayne Allen Pfeiff

Wayne Allen Pfeiff was born on August 10, 1949, in Burlington, Iowa, and departed this life on Monday, July 11, 2011, in Prague, Oklahoma, at the age of 61. Wayne, the son of Dale and C. Janet (Ibbotson) Pfeiff, was a resident of Prague. He graduated from Mediapolis High School in Iowa with the class of 1968 and was of the Methodist faith. Wayne grew up and worked on the farm in Iowa. He loved to bowl and enjoyed spending time with his nieces and nephews. His father and brother, Marvin Pfeiff, preceded Wayne in death. Survivors include his mother, C. Janet Pfeiff of Prague; brother and sister-in-law; Bruce and Vicki Pfeiff of Prague; nephew and family, Bryan, Camile, Benjamin and Isabella Pfeiff of Shawnee; niece and family, Jason, Carrie (Pfeiff), and Britten Himle of Prague. The family requests that memorial donations be made to the Prague Fire Department, 820 Jim Thorpe Blvd., Prague, OK 74864. Funeral services will be held on Friday, July 15, 2011 at 10:00 AM, at Parks Brothers Funeral Chapel in Prague with Rev. Scott Keneda officiating. Interment will follow at the Prague Cemetery.
