Wanda Mae Mckenzie

Wanda Mae McKenzie, Dallas, Texas, resident, was born on June 19, 1930, in Wynnewood, Oklahoma, and departed this life November 25, 2012, in Dallas, at the age of 82 years. Wanda was the daughter of Wimpy and Ethyl Mae (Anthony) Clapp. She married Jerry McKenzie, in 2000, at Las Vegas, Nevada. Wanda was the former owner of Locke Supply Company, philanthropist, and homemaker. She was a member of Prime Time Fellowship in Dallas. Her parents, one brother, and one grandson, preceded Wanda in death. Survivors include, her husband, Jerry of the home, two daughters, Donna Lamar of Aubrey, Texas, and Anna McKenzie of Oklahoma City, Oklahoma, one granddaughter, Amber Lamar, of Newalla, Oklahoma, other relatives and many friends. Graveside services will be held at 2:00 PM, Thursday, November 29, 2012, at the family cemetery near Chandler, Oklahoma, with Rev. Rick Blackwell officiating. Arrangements are under the direction of Parks Brothers Funeral Service in Chandler, Oklahoma.
