Wanda Clara Bunyard

Wanda Clara Cornelius Bunyard was born in London, KY on October 24, 1921 and departed this life in Tulsa, Oklahoma Sunday, February 8, 2009 at the age of 87 years. Clara was the daughter of Sherman and Lela Brown Cornelius. She was a resident of Stroud, Oklahoma all of her life. She was a member of the First Baptist Church, Rebecca Lodge, and Eastern Star in Stroud, Oklahoma, and a homemaker. Clara married Virgle Leroy Bunyard in Stroud, Oklahoma on December 16, 1937. She was preceded in death by her parents, husband, Virgle May 15, 1986, 2 Sons, Don and Jimmie Dale, 1 daughter, Betty Jean, 1 brother, Herbert, 1 sister, Alice and 1 great great grandson, Cameron. Survivors include, One Son & daughter in Law, Jerry and Betty Bunyard of Stroud, Ok, One Daughter & Son in Law, Victoria and Don Jones of Sapulpa, OK, One Daughter in Law, Louise Bunyard of Davenport, OK, Brother, Kenneth Cornelius of Beech Grove, IN, Nine Grandchildren, 29 Great Grandchildren, 14 Great Great Grandchildren, Other relatives and friends. Funeral service will be held at the First Baptist Church in Stroud, Oklahoma on Friday, February 13, 2009 at 10:00 A.M. with Dr. Burl Mackey officiating. Burial will be in the Stroud Cemetery under the direction of Parks Brothers Funeral Service in Stroud, OK.
