Walter Walker

Walter Walker, age 88, of Harrah, OK, was born on January 16, 1920 in Bremond, Texas. He was the son of Dave & Martha Stromski Walker. He departed this life on Friday, July 11, 2008, in Harrah, OK. Walter served in the U. S. Army during WW II. He married Angie R. Michalski on June 30, 1956 in Denison, Texas. He retired from Tinker AFB after over twenty years, where he worked as an auto mechanic. Walter was preceded in death by his parents, his wife, one son, one daughter, four brothers and two sisters. Survivors include 3 sons & 2 daughters-in-law, Bob Walker, Harrah, OK, John & Sonja Walker, Harrah, OK, Randy & Marcy Thorgenson, Midwest City, OK; 1 daughter, Margaret Nagy, Harrah, OK; 11 grandchildren; 13 great-grandchildren; 1 great-great-grandchild and many other relatives and friends. Services will be held at 10:00 AM, Tuesday, July 15, 2008 at the Asa Smith Memorial Chapel, Harrah, OK, with Father Alan Loth officiating. Interment will follow at St. Teresa Catholic Cemetery, Harrah, OK. Services are under the direction of Smith-Parks Funeral Service, Harrah, OK.
