Walter Thomas Devilbiss

Walter Thomas DeVilbiss was born on February 26, 1942, in Lordsburg, New Mexico, and departed this life on Friday, August 12, 2011, in Prague, Oklahoma, at the age of 69. Walter, the son of Max and Nell (Tyler) DeVilbiss, was a resident of Prague most of his life. He married Margaret Little on November 20, 1968, in Gainsville, TX. Walter worked as a truck driver and a teacher and was a member of Calvary Way Church. His parents; one son, Walter 'Kelly' Thomas DeVilbiss, Jr.; and one sister preceded Walter in death. Survivors include wife, Margaret DeVilbiss of the home; son and daughter-in-law, Scott and Kerry DeVilbiss of Wheatridge, CO; daughters and sons-in-law, Sherri and Rusty White of Prague, Tammi and David Welch of Shawnee, Sandi and Mike White of Falcon, CO; brother, Max Harold DeVilbiss of Shawnee. Funeral services will be held on Tuesday, August 16, 2011 at 10:00 AM, at Calvary Way Church in Prague with Pastor Starland Davis officiating. Interment will follow at Gable Cemetery in Prague. Services are under the direction of Parks Brothers Funeral Service in Prague.
