Viva Lanell Stacy

Viva LaNell Stacy was born on March 28, 1926, in Prague, and departed this life on Sunday, January 1, 2017, in Shawnee, Oklahoma, at the age of 90. Viva, the daughter of Alvin Forrest and Pearl (Stiffler) Montgomery, was a resident of Shawnee. She was a faithful member of Wallace Avenue Baptist Church. Viva enjoyed working crosswords and puzzles, doing cross stitch, watching game shows and spending time with family and grandkids. Viva’s parents and two sisters, Norma Jo Davis and Mary Wade preceded her in death. Survivors include her sons and daughters-in-law Charles and Gayle Stacy of Shawnee, Mike and Carolyn Stacy of Shawnee, Randy Stacy and Judith of Tecumseh, and Jim Stacy of Bixby; daughter and son-in-law Sally and Danny Hunter of Oklahoma City; 12 grandchildren; 11 great grandchildren; brother Dwight Montgomery of Prague and many other family and friends. The Stacy family will receive friends on Friday, January 6, 2017 from 6:00 – 8:00 PM at Parks Brothers Funeral Home in Prague. Funeral services will be held on Saturday, January 7, 2017 at 10:00AM, at Parks Brothers Funeral Chapel in Prague with Richard Hight officiating. Interment will follow at Garden Grove Cemetery.
