Violet Viola Leach

Violet Liola Leach, long-time Tryon, Oklahoma, resident was born on October 13, 1913, in Davenport, Oklahoma, and departed this life on March 12, 2013, in Stillwater, Oklahoma, at the age of 99 years. Violet was the daughter of Arch and Minnie (Waters) Crouch. She married Francis Irvin Leach on March 18, 1933, in Chandler, Oklahoma. Violet was a homemaker and a member of Christian Union Church in Tryon. Her parents, husband, one infant daughter, six brothers, and one sister preceded Violet in death. Survivors include three sons, Darrell Leach of Guthrie, Oklahoma, Chester Leach of Tryon, and Cecil Leach of Tryon, one daughter, Frances Mangold of Tryon, nine grandchildren, sixteen great- grandchildren, eleven great, great grandchildren, other relatives and many friends. Funeral services will be held at 2:00 PM, Friday, March 15, 2013, at Christian Union Church in Tryon, Oklahoma, with Rev. Ted Gibson and Rev. Steven Grotheer officiating. Burial will follow at Tryon Cemetery. Services are under the direction of Parks Brothers Funeral Service in Chandler, Oklahoma.
