Viola M. Ingram, Chandler, Oklahoma, resident was born on August 1, 1907, in Chandler, Oklahoma and departed this life on April 6, 2004, in Chandler, Oklahoma, at the age of 96 years. Viola was the daughter of Albert O. and Mabel H. Rowley Kalka. She graduated from the Davenport High School in 1925. Viola married Steve Ingram in Chandler, on August 8, 1926. She was a life-long resident of Lincoln County and the New Zion Community with the exception of a 4 year period in the late 1930?s, when she and her husband farmed and worked in the apple orchards in the Yakima, Washington area. She operated a monogramming service from their farm, south east of Chandler, and she was an avid bowler. In her later years she spent many hours at her loom weaving rugs. She also wrote a monthly column for the Davenport News Era paper, and was a member of the First Assembly of God Church in Chandler. Her parents, husband, two sisters, and two brothers preceded Viola in death. Survivors include: Two sons; A.J. Ingram of Midwest City, OK; Royce Ingram of Wichita Falls, TX; Three daughters: Mardell Kern of Tulsa, OK; Donita Nahas of Spring Hill, FL; Joyce Regnier of Bethany, OK; One sister: Opal Temple of Chandler, OK; 15 Grandchildren; 20 Great Grandchildren; 7 Great Great Grandchildren; Other relatives and many friends. In lieu of flowers donations may be made to the New Zion Cemetery Fund
