Vieva Pearl Murfin

Vieva Pearl Murfin, a Stroud, Oklahoma, resident, was born in Macorber, Oklahoma, on December 12, 1913 and departed this life in Newcastle, Oklahoma, on Friday, March 2, 2007, at the age of 93 years. Vieva was the daughter of John and Grace C. Mayfield Stubblefield. Vieva was a resident of Stroud area most of her life. She was a member of the New Covenant Church in Stroud and worked as a nurse. She married Sam E. Murfin in Chandler, Oklahoma on October 7, 1929. She was preceded in death by his parents, husband, one brother and three sisters. Survivors include, Three son, Harold Murfin of Houston, TX, Jerry Murfin of Stroud, OK, Sam Murfin of Newcastle, OK, Three sisters, Mable Allen of Okla.
