Veronica Mary Jorski Kupczynski, age 93, was born on December 27, 1912, in Harrah, OK and departed this life on Monday, July 31, 2006, in Oklahoma City, OK. Veronica was the daughter of John Jacob & Jadwiga Hattie Kusek Jorski. She was married to Maksymillan Max Joseph Kupczynski for 55 years until his death. She worked at Douglas Aircraft during World War II. Then she worked for Sylvania until they closed. She was a shipping clerk for Agee Products until she retired at age 68. She received her GED at age 66. Veronica was a member of the Home Demonstration Club, St. Teresa?s Catholic Church, the Polish Club, Polonia Society, Alter Society and was nominated for Woman of the Year in 1997. She attended mass every day after she retired. She wrote poems and had one published. She enjoyed gardening, playing the piano, organ and accordion and played for the Polish Festival every year. She made Easter baskets for the children at St. Teresa?s and made the majority of her own clothes and hats. Veronica was preceded in death by her parents; her husband and one brother, Anthony Tony Jorski. Survivors include 2 daughters & 1 son-in-law, Vicki Wilson, Harrah, OK, Dottie & Luke Schaefer, Oklahoma City, OK; 3 sisters, Frances Meek, Harrah, OK, Teresa Grogg, Las Vegas, NV, Barbara Mitchell, Midwest City, OK; 6 grandchildren & spouses, Chuck & Kathryn Schaefer, Carolyn Humphries, Patricia & Kenneth Franklin, James & Ann Wilson, Carol Wilson, Paula Hale; 13 great-grandchildren, Amie, April, Ann, Nick, Caitlin, Mary, Charlottee, Michael, Russell, Anthony, Ginny, Meagan, and Dystrey; 13 great-great-grandchildren, Darren, Baleigh, Meghann, Matthew, Jazmin, Alexia, Elizabeth, Savannah, Max, Jennifer, Shantel, Raymond and Kennedy any many other relatives and friends. Thank you to all of her friends and family especially those who came to visit her. A special thanks to her dear friends, Rose & Ernest Ficklin, Carol, Shirley & John Plott, Father Rick Stansberry, Alterra Sterling House, especially B.J. Christopher and Martha Romeo. A Rosary service will be held at 6:40 P.M. with the Wake service at 7:00 P.M., Thursday, August 3, 2006, at St. Teresa?s Catholic Church, Harrah, OK. Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 10:00 A.M. Friday, August 4, 2006, at St. Teresa?s Catholic Church, Harrah, OK, with Father Alan Loth officiating. Interment will follow at St. Teresa?s Catholic Cemetery, Harrah, OK. Services are under the direction of Smith-Parks Funeral Service, Harrah, OK.
