Verona E. Beasler Sprague

Verona E. Beasler Sprague, Oklahoma City, Oklahoma, resident, was born on October 13, 1916, in Chandler, Oklahoma, and departed this life on March 29, 2006, at the Lakes Nursing Home in Oklahoma City at the age of 89 years. Verona was the daughter of Charles and Harriett Beasler. She grew up in Chandler, graduated from Chandler High School, was very active in church and sang in a women?s quartet. Verona married Earl Sprague, from Chandler, May 18, 1942. They moved to Oklahoma City and had one son. She worked downtown at Kress Department Store as a sales clerk until it closed. Verona loved to be around her grandsons and her great-grandchildren. Her parents, husband, one sister and one brother precede Verona in death. Survivors include, Son & daughter-in-law:Hugh & Aletta Sprague of Oklahoma City, Two grandsons & spouses, Dave & Tina Sprague of Oklahoma City, Steven & Leanne Sprague of Piedmont, Four great-grandchildren, Brandy, Allison, Sera and Noah. A host of nieces, nephews and cousins.
