Vernon E. Clark

Vernon Eugene Clark, life-time, Chandler, Oklahoma, resident was born on November 24, 1918, in Chandler, Oklahoma, and departed this life on August 7, 2007, at his home in Chandler, at the age of 88 years. Vernon was the son of Vergil V. and Ethel Mae Campbell Clark. Vernon served in the United States Army during WWII. He worked many years as Deputy Lincoln County Treasurer, and was a member of the Chandler United Methodist Church, American Legion, Veterans of Foreign Wars and Disabled American Veterans. His parents and one brother preceded Vernon in death. Survivors include, One sister, Betty Lou Key of Oklahoma City, OK, Numerous nieces, nephews and many friends. Funeral services will be held at 10:00 AM, Thursday, August 9, 2007, at Parks Brothers Funeral Chapel in Chandler, Oklahoma, with Rev. Sungsu Hwang officiating. Burial will follow at Oak Park Cemetery, Chandler. Services are under the direction of the Parks Brothers Funeral Service in Chandler.
