Vernea "Nea" Kimberlin

Vernea 'Nea' Kimberlin, former resident of Wellston, Oklahoma, was born on January 1, 1923, in St. Joe Arkansas, and departed this life on April 6, 2014, at the age of 91 years. Nea, a resident of Braggs, Oklahoma, was the daughter of William Henry and Rosa Ellen (Curtsinger) Terrill. She married Bert Kimberlin on May 16, 1941, in Sapulpa, Oklahoma. Nea was a homemaker. Two days before Bert's death in 1991, Bert told Dale ' Son you might have lead me the Lord, but your momma won me to the Lord by the way she lived her life.' Her parents, husband, three brothers, two sisters, and one granddaughter preceded Nea in death. Survivors include, one son and daughter-in-law, Dale and Lesley Kimberlin of Braggs, Oklahoma; three daughters and son-in-law, Gean McNeill of Braggs, Oklahoma, Jane and James Fleming of Ponca City, Oklahoma, and Toie Rubright of Claremore, Oklahoma; one brother and sister-in-law, Jimmy and Jane Terrill of Cookson, Oklahoma; five grandchildren, nine great-grandchildren, seven great-great-grandchildren, other relatives and many friends. Funeral services will be held at 2:00 PM, Saturday, April 12, 2014, at the Trinity Baptist Church, Wellston, Oklahoma, with Rev. Lane Buckley officiating. Burial will follow at Wellston Cemetery. Services are under the direction of Parks Brothers Funeral Service in Chandler, Oklahoma
