Vera "Bobbie" Louise Hoar

Vera “Bobbie” Louise Hoar was born on May 7, 1929, in Watonga, Oklahoma, and departed this life on Tuesday, November 19, 2013, in Prague, Oklahoma, at the age of 84. Bobbie, the daughter of Charles Wesley and Clara Beatrice (Strack) Sawyer, was a resident of Prague. She married Robert “Stoney” Clare Hoar in August, 1950. Her husband, parents, brother and sister preceded Bobbie in death. Bobbie is survived by her loving family: two children, Douglas Horton and wife, Lenora and Angela McPhee and husband, Patrick; six grandchildren: Rodney Brown, Justin Horton, Ryan Horton and wife, Jasmine, Chris Horton and wife, Rita, Caitlin McPhee and Kathryn Horton; and five great-grandchildren: Jocelyn, Ashtin, Isabella, Cristiana and Ryker. Funeral services will be held on Tuesday, November 26, 2013, at 2:00 PM, at Mt. Calvary Lutheran Church in Watonga with David Kaiser officiating. Interment will follow at IOOF Cemetery in Watonga. Services are under the direction of Parks Brothers Funeral Service in Prague.
