Ven Stramski, age 79, a lifelong Harrah, OK, resident was born on September 1, 1924, in Harrah and departed this earth on September 25, 2003, in Harrah. He was the son of Joe & Anna Rominski Stroremski. Ven attended Harrah Schools and then served in the U.S. Army during World War II as a Military Policeman. He married Louise Drew on May 20, 1950, in Harrah, OK. He worked at Tinker AFB as an aircraft mechanic until retiring in 1979. He lived all of his life in Harrah and was a member of St. Teresa?s Catholic Church, Harrah, OK. Ven enjoyed fishing, hunting, raising pigeons and loved to watch his Purple Martins. Ven was preceded in death by his parents, one brother, one sister, and one daughter, Alice Rose. Survivors include his wife, Louise Stramski, Harrah, OK; 2 sons & daughters-in-law:, Jimmy & Susan Stramski, Harrah, OK, Donald & Anita Stramski, Harrah, OK; 3 daughters & sons-in-law, Barbara & Tom Rolen, Edmond, OK, Janette & David Dye, Yukon, OK, Jeri & Randy Minnick, Newalla, OK; 2 brothers & sisters-in-law, Andrew & Anna Stramski, Harrah, OK, Lewis & Lynn Stramski, Harrah, OK; 2 sisters, Christine Farley, Gulf Shores, AL, Susie Chavez, Del City, OK; and 7 grandchildren. Rosary and Wake service will be held 6:45 P.M. Sunday, September 28, 2003 at St. Teresa?s Catholic Church, Harrah, OK. Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 10:00 A.M. Monday, September 29, 2003 at St. Teresa?s Catholic Church, Harrah, OK, with Father Eugene Marshall officiating. Interment will follow at St. Teresa?s Catholic Cemetery, Harrah, OK. Services are under the direction of Smith~Parks Funeral Service in Harrah, OK.
