Velvidean High

Velvidean High, Wellston, Oklahoma, resident was born November 9, 1930, in Chandler, Oklahoma, and departed this life March 18, 2016, in Shawnee, Oklahoma, at the age of 85 years. Velvidean was the daughter of Raymond and Sophia (Stepp) High. She worked in food service for many years. Her parents, and one brother, preceded Velvidean in death. Survivors include, one sister, Della Williams of Fort Smith, Arkansas; other relatives and many friends. A graveside service will be held at 1:00 PM, Friday, March 25, 2016, at Oak Park Cemetery in Chandler. Services are under the direction of Parks Brothers Funeral Service in Chandler, Oklahoma.
