Velma Dee Crews

Velma Crews, Chandler, Oklahoma, resident, was born on February 27, 1920, in Antlers, Oklahoma, and departed this life on December 26, 2007, in Glennpool, Oklahoma, at the age of 87 years. Velma was the daughter of Samuel and Mary Ella Gentry Jackson. She married Marion Crews in Shawnee, Oklahoma on May 8, 1945. Velma was a member of the Chandler Assembly of God Church and was a homemaker. Her parents, husband, seven brothers and three sisters preceded Velma in death. Survivors include three sons & daughters-in-law, Ron and Gaitha Crews of Mounds, OK.Steven and Judy Crews of Okla. City, OK. Gary and Debbie Crews of Chandler, OK. One sister Bessie Kidwell of Napa, CA. Six grandchildren, five great grandchildren.Other relatives and many friends. Graveside services will be held at 11:00 AM, Saturday, December 29, 2007, at the Pleasant Ridge Cemetery near Chandler, Oklahoma, with Pastor Ron Crews officiating. Services are under the direction of the Parks Brothers Funeral Service in Chandler.
