Tyler Dewayne Smith

Tyler DeWayne Smith was born on April 19, 1987, in Shawnee, OK, and departed this life on Monday, September 5, 2005, in Oklahoma City, OK, at the age of 18. Tyler, the son of Jerry DeWayne and Jeannette Lynn Powell Smith, lived most of his life in Prague. He graduated with the Prague High School class of 2005 where he was very active in agriculture and played basketball. His achievements in FFA included Officer Team for 4 years, showed cattle numerous times, National Bronze Star for Agri-Science, State Farm degree, DeKalp Award his senior year, livestock judging team at Murray State College, and a full scholarship to Murray State. Tyler was a member of the First Baptist Church in Prague. Survivors include parents, Jerry and Jeannette Smith of Prague; sister,Kristen Smith of the home; grandparents, Ron and Karen Smith of Tecumseh and Tom and Willa Powell of Shawnee; and great-grandparents, Reba Childers Fallin of Bethel and Allin Fallin of Bethel.
