Truman Peek

Truman Winter Peek, long-time Stroud, OK, resident was born on March 14, 1925, in Dillard, OK, and departed this life on Monday, October 3, 2011, Stroud, at the age of 86 years. Truman was the son of Floyd Jackson and Allie O. (Winter) Peek. He married Wanda Flatt at Stroud, in 1980. Truman worked in the oil field as a production superintendent for many years. He enjoyed working around the farm and was of the Christian faith. He was preceded in death by his parents, one daughter, Kathy; one brother and two sisters. Survivors include, Wife, Wanda of the home, One son, Wendell Peek of Stroud, OK, One daughter, Elizabeth Peek of Sacramento, CA, Seven Grandchildren, Numerous Great-grandchildren and great-great grandchild, Other relatives and many friends. Graveside services will be held on Friday, October 7, 2011 at 10:00 A.M. at the Stroud Cemetery with Wendell Peek officiating. Services are under the direction of Parks Brothers Funeral Service in Stroud, Oklahoma.
