Treva Lee Lindsey

Treva Lee Lindsey entered the Kingdom of Heaven on November 21, 2013. She was born in Chandler, OK on October 8, 1932 to Trevis and Evalyn McLaughlin. She was raised in Chandler and an active member of the First Christian Church. Treva Lee married Gerald Lindsey on June 27, 1951 and they celebrated 62 years together. She was a loving wife, mother and adored her grandchildren and great grandchildren. She was very active and involved in many organizations including, Beta Sigma Phi, Theta Chapter, Chandler Historical Society, Red Hat Society, Chandler Alumni Association and was honored as the 1991 Alumnus of the Year. She was blessed with many life long friends. Treva Lee was preceded in death by her parents, special cousin, Martha Ann Atkins, sister-in-laws Norma Calvin and Carol Bowers. Survivors include, her husband Gerald, brother-in-law, Jerry Bowers, children Debbie Murphy and husband Mike, Jerry Lindsey and wife Connie, Nancy Daniel and husband Ken Roden, Rick Lindsey and wife Liz, grandchildren Heather Lindsey and Jeff, Brian Daniel and Erica, Nicholas Harroz, III and Keegan, and Richard Lindsey, II, Kevin and Krista Hamm, great grandchildren, Annie Daniel and Ayden Hamm and numerous nieces, nephews and extended family. She is much loved by all and will be greatly missed. The family extends a very special thank you to Vivian for her loving care for Treva Lee. Also, the family would like to thank Sharece and Donna for their exceptional care. Funeral services will be held at 2:OOpm, Monday, November 25, 2013 at Parks Brothers Funeral Chapel in Chandler with Rev. Fred Rider officiating. Burial will follow at Oak Park Cemetery.
