Tom Scribner

Thomas Ray 'Tom' Scribner, long-time Chandler, OK, resident was born on October 23, 1944, in Chandler, OK, and departed this life on Monday, January 30, 2012, in Oklahoma City, OK, at the age of 67 years. Tom was the son of Thomas and Bessie Pearl (Day) Scribner. He graduated from Chandler High School in 1963. Tom Served in the United States Army. He married Elania Howard on April, 11, 1969, in Agra, OK. Tom worked as a small engine mechanic in the Chandler area for many years. His parents and one sister preceded Tom in death. Survivors include, wife of 42 years, Elania of the home, one son and daughter-in-law, Chris and Carrie Scribner of Chandler, two daughters and sons-in-law, Pam and Mark Maston of Shawnee, OK, Mandy and Ty Moore of Shawnee, OK, six grandchildren, other relatives and many friends. Graveside services will be held at 10:00 AM, Thursday, February 2, 2012, at New Zion Cemetery, Chandler, OK, with Ron Walker officiating. A full obituary will be in next week's Lincoln County News. Services are under the direction of Parks Brothers Funeral Service in Chandler.
