Timothy Roger Tillis

Timothy Roger Tillis was born on February 29, 1968 in Oklahoma City, OK and departed this life on Saturday, September 19, 2020 in Chandler, OK at the age of 52. Timothy is the son of Roger E and Rosetta (Wilson) Tillis. He graduated from Chandler High School class of 1986. He was very athletic and lettered in football, basketball, and track during high school. He was a player for the Chandler Football ‘84-‘85 State Championship team. He went on to play football at the collegiate level at the University of Central Oklahoma as a running back where he graduated in 1991 with a bachelor’s degree in industrial safety. He was employed with Wolverine Tube in Shawnee, OK. He was an avid hunter who looked forward to each deer season and was just as passionate about fishing. Tim had a loving personality and always treasured his family. Timothy is preceded in death by his mother Rosetta Tillis. He leaves behind his two daughters Destiny Tillis, Chasity Tillis, granddaughter Chloe Tillis, father Roger Tillis, two brothers Terry Tillis and Tracy Tillis, sister Teresa Hill, brother in-law Curtis Hill, a host of nieces, nephews and other family members. Funeral Services will be held at 11:00 am on Saturday, September 26, 2020 at the First Assembly of God Church with burial to follow at Clearview Cemetery in Chandler, OK. At the families request please wear a mask. Come and go visitation will be from 9:00 am to 8:00 pm on Friday, September 25, 2020 at Parks Brothers Chandler.
