Thelma Leota Mayfield was born on December 7, 1920, in , and departed this life on Tuesday, May 7, 2013, in Oklahoma City, Oklahoma, at the age of 92. Thelma, the daughter of John Lock and Maggie Delena (Tudor) Tucker, was a resident of Paden most of her life. She married Henry 'Harmon' Mayfield on July 10, 1937, in Modesto, California. Thelma was a homemaker and a member of the Lighthouse Holiness Church. She was preceded in death by her parents; husband; son, Henry Mayfield, Jr.; four grandchildren; and three sisters. Survivors include sons and daughters-in-law, Melvin and Alice Mayfield of Paden, John and Betty Mayfield of Wellston, Allen Mayfield of Prague, Louis and Sylvia Mayfield of Wilmer, AL; daughter and son-in-law, Velma and Tim Beck of Prague; daughter-in-law, Donna Mayfield of Paden; brother and sister-in-law, Harvey and Nellie Tucker of Riverband, CA; sister, Iva Morgan of Paden; 19 grandchildren; 33 Great-grandchildren; 23 Great-great-grandchildren. The Mayfield family will receive friends and family on Thursday, May 9, 2013, from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM. Funeral services will be held on Friday, May 10, 2013 at 2:00 PM, at Lighthouse Holiness Church in Prague with Brother Aaron Brock and Bro. Paul Heard officiating. Interment will follow at the Paden Cemetery.
