Thelma E Mcbride

Thelma Edith Grimes McBride, age 97, was born on December 28, 1906, in Harrah, Oklahoma and departed this life on Sunday, September 19, 2004, in Columbia, Missouri. Thelma was the daughter of Lafayette & Lutie Unselt Herron Grimes. She graduated from Harrah High School in 1924. She was a member of the Quail Springs Baptist Church. Thelma played the piano and loved to sew. Thelma was preceded in death by her parents; her husband, Robert E. McBride in 1965. Survivors include 2 daughters & sons-in-law, Bobbie & James Burk, Columbia, MO, Peggy & Billy Taylor, Oklahoma City, OK; 1 sister,Lutie Reid, San Angelo, TX; 1 grandson, Jeff Burk. Graveside services will be held 10:00 AM Wednesday, September 22, 2004 at Memory Lane Cemetery, Harrah, OK, with Dr. Tony Nickel officiating. Services are under the direction of Smith-Parks Funeral Service, Harrah, OK.
