Terry Michael Smith

Terry Michael Smith, long-time Tryon, Oklahoma, resident was born on July 13, 1949, in Salinas, California, and departed this life on April 17, 2018, at his home in Tryon at the age of 68 years. Terry was the son of Harley and Faye (Logue) Smith. He married Wanda Breski on March 9, 1978, in Wheeler, Texas. In 1979, Terry and Wanda moved to Tryon, where he owned and operated a Garage and Body Shop for many years. He enjoyed camping, fishing, street rods, and spending time with his family. His wife, Wanda; parents, Harley and Faye; two brothers, Buck and Charlie; and four sisters, Shirley, Norma, Anita, and Janice preceded Terry in death. Survivors include, two sons and daughters-in-law, David and Amanda Smith of Chandler, Oklahoma, Scott and Sarah Smith of Tryon; one daughter and son-in-law, Anita and Otis Ryan of Pawnee, Oklahoma, eight grandchildren, Rorie, Cooper, Cody, Cailey, Michael, Chris, Dewayne, and Rachel; one great-grandson, Levi; other relatives and many friends. A memorial service will be held at 11:00 AM, Saturday, April 21, 2018, at the Tryon Christian Union Church, with Rev. Steven Grotheer officiating. Arrangements are under the direction of Parks Brothers Funeral Service in Chandler, Oklahoma.
