Terry Dean Heller

May 19, 1955 — July 7, 2024

Terry Dean Heller departed this life on Sunday, July 7, 2024.

Terry was born on Thursday, May 19, 1955 to David and Margaret Heller in Pueblo, CO. Terry at the age of 17 had his parents sign him up to join the Navy. After serving his country he moved back to Colorado and worked several jobs. Terry moved to Oklahoma in the early 80’s, where he met Joyce Baker and married her in 1985. During their marriage they moved from Oklahoma to Iowa then to Nebraska and then landed back in Oklahoma. Terry worked for Highland for over 20 years and after retiring there worked for Patriot’s, transporting cars, up until recent years. If he had free time, he liked to tinker with things and just drive around seeing the countryside. Terry was one that checked on everyone even when he wasn’t feeling his best. One of his proudest things was being Commander in the Royal Rangers. He was known as Grandpa Terry to most of the kids at Stroud First Assembly of God. Terry was a God loving man. He always made sure his family’s needs were met. Terry’s loving helpful spirit will be missed.

Terry is preceded by his parents David and Margaret Heller and his brother David Heller.

Terry leaves behind his wife Joyce Heller; son David Heller; brothers Larry and Herschel Heller; as well as many extended family and a host of friends.
