Ted Galloway, Chandler, Oklahoma, resident, was born on September 19, 1931 in Cache, Oklahoma, and departed this life on January 14, 2004, in Chandler, Oklahoma, at the age of 72 years. Ted was the son of Fred and Blanche McCoy Galloway. Ted served his country during WWII and the Korean War. He married Linda Sullivan Gough in Chandler, Oklahoma, on August 29, 1974. Ted worked many years as a grocery store manager in Chandler; he was a retired captain from the Oklahoma National Guard, and past president of the Chandler Chamber of Commerce and the Lions Club of Chandler. His parents and one brother preceded Ted in death. Survivors include: Wife of 29 years, Linda of the home; Four Sons & daughters-in-law: Robert & Yong Galloway of Las Vegas, NV, Vernon & Karen Gough of Chandler, OK, Phillip & Levina Gough of Chandler, OK, Paul Gough of Chandler, OK; Two daughters & sons-in-law, Belinda & Jay Burton of Bentonville, AR, Carol & Kelly Crary of Sparks, OK, 8 Grandchildren, 3 Great Grandchildren, Other relatives and many friends. In lieu of flowers memorials may be made to the Judith Karmen Hospice Inc.P.O. Box 818, Stillwater, OK 74076 A private family memorial service will be held at a later date.
