Sylvia Viola Yeager

Sylvia Viola Yeager was born on November 19, 1921, in Rossville, Oklahoma, and departed this life on Wednesday, July 14, 2010, in Shawnee, Oklahoma, at the age of 88. Sylvia, the daughter of Charles Willard and Mary Jane (Lancaster) Roberts, was a resident of the Prague area most of her life. She married Floyd Arthor Yeager on April 15, 1949, in Ardmore, Oklahoma. He preceded her in death on November 11, 2003. Sylvia was a member of the Seminole First Assembly of God. Her parents also preceded Sylvia in death. Survivors include sons and daughters-in-law, Tommy and Melba Yeager of Oklahoma City, Richard Yeager of Oklahoma City, Steven and Layla Yeager of Prague; daughters and sons-in-law, Patsy Moore of Prague, Karolyn and Terry Phillips of Guthrie, Joanne and Roger Fleming of Prague; sister, Beatrice Hanks of Prague; thirteen grandchildren; twelve great-grandchildren; two great-great-grandchildren. A memorial service will be held on Wednesday, July 21, 2010 at 10:00 AM, at Parks Brothers Funeral Chapel in Prague with Pastor Doyle Long officiating. Interment will follow at the Prague Cemetery in Prague. Services are under the direction of Parks Brothers Funeral Service in Prague.
