Sybil Oleta Morris

Sybil Oleta Morris, was born in Stratford, Oklahoma on September 3, 2009, and died in Edmond, Oklahoma on September 13, 2009 at the age of 88 years. Sybil was the daughter of Luther Burr and Nancy Emaline (Harris) Watson. Sybil was a former resident of Stroud, Oklahoma. Sybil became ill and moved to Edmond, Oklahoma with her niece and had lived there for the past 8 years. She was a member of the First Baptist Church in Stroud, Oklahoma and worked as a Telephone Operator and Homemaker. Sybil married Howard Morris in Oklahoma on November 22, 1967. He preceded her in death on January 16, 2000. She was also preceded in death by his parents, one brother, Orville Watson. Survivors include, Niece & Caregiver, Linda Patton of Edmond, OK, One Brother, Vernon Watson of Virginia, One Step-Son, Phillip Morris of Nashville, TN, Two Step Grandchildren, Phillip Howard Morris & Jane Ellen Morris of Nashville, Host of Nieces and Nephews, Others relative and friends. Graveside services will be held at the Stroud Cemetery on Thursday, September 17, 2009 at 1:30 P.M. with Lieutenant Colonel Scott Patton officiating. Services are under the direction of Parks Brothers Funeral Services in Stroud, Oklahoma.
